Lifecycle group whitelisting rules can now be defined for individual group type, and Docebo and Brevo have been added as supported applications for SCIM provisioning.
New Features¶
User Functions for Custom External Logic¶
Hire2Retire has added a new Identity step called User Functions, where Hire2Retire users can integrate and define external scripts or subroutines. This allows users to seamlessly extend workflow behavior without modifying the core platform and meet specific use cases and business requirements. User Functions are developed and hosted as Azure Functions within the user's own Azure infrastructure, giving them full control, scalability, and security for the custom operations being triggered.
Configure Multi-Factor Authenication (MFA) Policies for Entra ID¶
Hire2Retire now supports attribute-based Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policy configuration directly in workflows. Users can now create rulesets in Lifecycle Business Rules to set the MFA policy as "Enabled", "Disabled", "Enforced", or "Do Not Change". As of the 8.4 release, MFA policy configuration is only for workflows with Entra ID or Hybrid AD setups.
Dictionary-Based One-Time Passwords Upon Account Creation¶
Hire2Retire now supports dictionary-based passwords for new Identity accounts. These easy-to-remember passphrases are built from common English words and can include uppercase, lowercase, numbers, or symbols to meet Microsoft’s password policy. Hire2Retire users can also set the character length to fit their needs.
New Supported SCIM Provisioning Applications¶
Hire2Retire now supports built-in SCIM provisioning with two new third-party applications. Users can now create seamless integrations in Hire2Retire workflows that automate provisioning and de-provisioning for targeted employees between these applications and the Identity Provider setup:
- Docebo
- Brevo
Support for Order Guides and Catalog Items in ServiceNow Integrations¶
Hire2Retire has directly integrated ServiceNow's Order Guide and Catalog Item capabilities. Users can now create attribute-based rulesets in their Hire2Retire workflows that automatically assign specific catalog items to accounts when lifecycle events occur. Similarly, users can trigger Order Guides for lifecycle events to submit multiple service requests in a single, guided process.
Enhancements¶
Whitelisting Rules for Individual Group Types¶
Hire2Retire's group whitelisting rules can now be defined for different group types, allowing for granular control over group whitelisting. With this enhancement, Hire2Retire users can now create custom rulesets for each lifecycle that define group whitelisting procedures by individual group type. Users can still apply blanket whitelisting rules to every group type in a specific lifecycle.
Other Improvements¶
- The Hire2Retire user experience has been improved on the Microsoft Edge browser.
- Hire2Retire now automatically sends termination emails even if the employee profile was manually disabled before the last working day.
- Lifecycle names for ATS and Onboarding application integrations have been updated to "Onboard", "Profile Update", and "Rescind" in the Hire2Retire user interface.
- Hire2Retire has updated runtime event operation values from "preboard" and "onboard" to "onboard" and "hire" to align with the labels in the user interface. Existing workflows will reflect the new labels after redeployment.
- Hire2Retire now supports the latest Paycor API version in accordance with the Paycor API library update. Customers can now configure employee numbers up to 30 characters.
