Fastly in Hire2Retire uses API Key.
In various platforms, including Fastly, an API key functions as an exclusive code or token granted to developers seeking interaction with the platform's API. This key plays a pivotal role in verifying and permitting the developer's entry to the platform's resources and data. Developers are required to include this designated API key within their API requests as a means of verifying their identity and securing access to the diverse functionalities furnished by the platform's API.

Generate API key in Fastly¶

Get API key¶
To Create new API token, Go to Account then select API tokens under the personal profile section. Click on Add new token and create a 'user' API token with global scope and set the exiration date as well.
Get Customer Id¶
To get the customer Id go to the company profile then click on company settings to get customer ID.
Link Fastly account in Hire2Retire¶
To link your Fastly account using API key, you have to specify your API key and Customer Id.
