New Features

SAP SuccessFactors API-based Integration

Hire2Retire now offers integration options through the SAP SuccessFactors API. In addition, the Hire2Retire workflow allows users to send business emails back to the SuccessFactors HR system after employees are successfully onboarded.

Enhancements

UI Redesign for the Lifecycle Sync and Group Assignment Steps

Phase 5.7 introduces a revamped user interface for the Lifecycle Business Rules and Group Assignment steps of the Hire2Retire core setup that provides a cleaner and more structured view. The Lifecycle Business Rules page now organizes lifecycles into tabs for easy selection and configuration. Similarly, the Group Assignment page categorizes different group types into tabs, streamlining the process of assigning security groups and OUs.

OAuth Authentication Support for Hire2Retire’s Shared Mailbox Service

Hire2Retire now supports OAuth Authentication for Exchange Online connection, offering enhanced security and benefits such as limited usable lifetime and application-specific usage. Modern Authentication simplifies the process of Enabling multifactor authentication (MFA). Customers using the previous Basic Authentication method will be seamlessly migrated to the new OAuth authentication approach. Runtime workflows remain unaffected.

Photo Sync Support Between HR Systems and Azure AD

Hire2Retire now supports the uploading of employee profile photos to Azure AD, allowing users to map their HR system profile pictures to Azure AD and reflect them across associated services like Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams. Currently, this feature is compatible with HR systems that send unlocked images, including ADP and BambooHR.

Enhanced feature support in ServiceNow ITSM integration

To align with common business use cases in ServiceNow, we have enhanced the configuration form in Hire2Retire IT Service Management (ITSM) integration. It now supports three options:

  1. Create Incident: Automatically generates incidents in the incident table.
  2. Create Records: Creates entities in select tables within ServiceNow.
  3. Trigger Workflow: Initiates specific entities to trigger the target workflow.

Export Observe Page Records in JSON Format

Users now have the option to download event processing reports in JSON format, in addition to HTML and PDF formats, facilitating easy integration into custom scripts for future analysis and processing.

Azure Distribution List Membership Support in Hire2Retire Azure AD Workflows

In addition to Microsoft 365 groups and security groups, Hire2Retire now supports the management of Static Distribution List memberships for customers who integrate with Azure AD. At runtime, the Distribution List memberships will be assigned or removed based on the group mapping rules.

Fixed Bugs and minor improvements

  1. Hire2Retire now provides enhanced form validation, providing precise alerts and guiding users to resolve issues when designing workflows.
  2. In the SFTP connection setup form, users can now either paste RSA public key content or upload key files for added flexibility.
  3. Multi-selection options are now sorted in alphanumeric order, offering a more organized user experience.
  4. The log for FreshService ITSM has been improved to display comprehensive details of failed events, aiding in troubleshooting.
