Released on September, 2025

Summary

Hire2Retire feature 9.2 Release introduces several powerful updates. Hire2Retire now tracks the full employee lifecycle in ATS and onboarding workflows, clearly distinguishing between system-driven changes and IT manual updates. A major enhancement comes with Hire2Retire IGA in ServiceNow, enabling automated user and resource provisioning, and review processes directly within the ServiceNow portal. To support compliance, user mailboxes can now be placed on Litigation Hold based on lifecycle and attributes. Additionally, the release introduces Workforce360, giving company admins a comprehensive view of each employee’s profile, career history, and organizational journey. Improvements include a cleaner UI for the configuration form, now structured into logical sections under the Identity Tab.

Hire2Retire also supports update operations across lifecycle events such as Hire/Rehire, Leave, and Termination, even when user accounts are in a disabled state. Finally, the Slack Access application now supports group-based provisioning, allowing channel memberships to be automatically assigned, further streamlining collaboration management.

New Features

Lifecycle tracking support in ATS and onboarding workflows.

Hire2Retire now support tracking of employee’s lifecycle in ATS and onboarding workflows. This will allow Hire2Retire to determine the current lifecycle state and corresponding actions based on historical lifecycle and operations stored in an extension attribute. This change also enables differentiation between H2R lifecycle state changes and manual modifications performed by IT admins.

Hire2Retire IGA on ServiceNow

Hire2Retire IGA in ServiceNow enables automated user provisioning, incident and record creation, requesting order guides and assigning catalog items. This ensures that when an employee is hired or terminated, all related actions are triggered and completed without any manual intervention, streamlining operations and improving efficiency. Hire2Retire IGA in ServiceNow gives you IGA capabilities right into your ServiceNow and also enables review for the Supervised mode of Hire2Retire directly from ServiceNow. The application also allows admins to view all Observe and Review events from ServiceNow.

Workforce 360

Introducing Employee360 – a powerful product that gives company admins a complete view of every employee’s profile, career history, and organizational journey. It enables admins to monitor workforce changes over time, filter and analyze employee data using advance filter criteria, and generate insightful reports. Employee360 ensures seamless tracking of employee transitions, role updates, and access changes throughout the entire employee lifecycle which can easily sync with Hire2Retire as well as customer idP endpoint.

Support Rule-Based Litigation Hold Setting for Selected Employees

Hire2Retire now supports placing user mailboxes on Litigation holds. Litigation hold policy can be configured on the basis of a combination of user attributes and lifecycles. Certain industries and departments that deal with sensitive communications are mandated by policies to retain all email communications, which is ensured by placing the mailbox on legal hold. This feature helps organizations stay compliant with their data retention policies.

Enhancements

Enhanced Form Layout with Grouped Fields

Hire2Retire has improved the overall UI of the configuration form by dividing it into logical sections to provide a clean structure under Identity Tab.

Enhanced Handling of Update Operations across Lifecycle Stages

Hire2Retire now supports update operations across various lifecycle events such as Hire/Rehire, Leave, and Termination, even when the user account is in a disabled state. Previously, Hire2Retire performed updates in a disabled state without reflecting the changes in the UI or triggering notification emails.

Added Support for Slack User Provisioning

Slack Access application on Hire2Retire now supports adding provisioned users to Slack groups, allowing channel memberships to be automatically assigned to users through their associated Slack groups.
