Phase 8.2 Release Notes

Released on March, 2025

Summary

The Hire2Retire Phase 8.2 release has added new features and improvements to streamline employee lifecycle management. The new and exclusive Temporary Access Password (TAP) feature enables IT teams to generate time-limited, one-time passwords for new hires, simplifying onboarding setup. It also allows integrations with Namely, HYPR, Imperva, and Gorgias as new access connectors, expanding system capability.

Furthermore, users can now set an email server as default, boosting the ease of use of lifecycle email configuration. Additionally, scheduled reports now include events up to two hours before the report schedule time, improving data accuracy. Hire2Retire also supports file extracts for ADP Recruiting, enhancing data transfer capabilities. The application page has been reorganized, categorizing HR, ATS, and onboarding systems into separate sections for a more intuitive user experience.

New Features

Temporary Access Pass (TAP) Support

Hire2Retire can now generate a Temporary Access Pass (TAP) upon new account creation in Entra ID and include it in onboarding email communication(s). A TAP provides a time-limited, one-time-use password that IT teams can use to securely access and set up employee accounts before the employee's start date.

New Supported Applications for SCIM Provisioning

Hire2Retire has added built-in SCIM provisioning support for four new third-party applications. Users can now establish seamless integrations between Hire2Retire and the following applications that automate the provisioning and de-provisioning processes for targeted employees:

  1. Namely
  2. Imperva
  3. Gorgias
  4. HYPR

Enhancements

Refined Account Deletion Process

Hire2Retire has improved account deletion processing time. If an employee's last working day is set for "today" or in the future at the time termination is processed, the aging period for account deletion will start from that date. If the last working day is in the past, the aging period will start from when Hire2Retire receives the employee data, preventing immediate account deletion.

File Extract Method in ADP Recruiting Integrations

Hire2Retire now supports the file extract option as an applicant data extraction method for ADP Recruiting integrations. At the workflow runtime, ADP Recruitment will send file extracts to the RoboMQ-hosted SFTP server, and the Hire2Retire workflow will process candidate profiles based on predefined rules configured in the platform.

Other Improvements

  1. Users can now set a default email server, simplifying lifecycle email configuration.
  2. Identity Platform labels for Google Directory have been changed to Google Workspace.
  3. Hire2Retire's report scheduler logic has been enhanced, now fetching events up to 2 hours before workflow runtime instead of midnight on the day before runtime.
  4. The Application page has been reorganized, grouping HR systems, ATS systems, and onboarding systems into separate sections.
  5. Users can now dynamically map SolarWinds attributes using HR system attributes or select from predefined SolarWinds values.
