Phase 10.1 Release Notes

Released on February, 2026

Summary

The 10.1 release introduces significant enhancements to access management, security, and compliance in Hire2Retire. Employees can now request access to applications from the organization’s application catalog, extending Access Requests beyond entitlements. Workforce360 now includes a dedicated Access section that provides detailed visibility into employee access across integrated third-party applications. This release also adds Access Certification, enabling organizations to periodically review and validate user access to critical systems and entitlements, making audits more accurate and streamlined. In addition, the Paylocity webhook integration has been updated to support basic authentication, along with enhancements to notification conditions in the Communication Hub.

New Features

Application Request and Fulfillment

Hire2Retire now allows employees to Request Access to Applications in the organization's application catalog. Administrators can easily configure the catalog, define approval workflows, and control access duration through a simple, intuitive interface.

Requests are time-bound and can be fulfilled manually via email or by automatically creating service desk tickets for application owners in Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, Freshservice, or SolarWinds. Once access is provisioned, the request must be marked as fulfilled by the fulfiller or an administrator, ensuring clear accountability and auditability.

Enable Workforce 360 Access Data

Workforce 360 now includes enhanced access data visibility as part of employee identity profiles. Administrators gain a consolidated view of all access privileges assigned to an employee, including when access was granted and its current status. This centralized access view supports stronger security, risk management, and compliance by making it easier to understand who has access to what, identify potential risks, and support access reviews and certifications.

Access Certification: Entitlement Review

With Access Certification, Hire2Retire enables organizations to periodically review and validate user access to critical systems and entitlements. It provides complete control over who reviews access, what access is reviewed, and how often certifications are performed, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements. Access Certification enforces least-privilege and zero-trust principles by identifying excessive, unused, or inappropriate access and enabling timely remediation. Reviewers can approve, revoke, or flag access, with all actions fully audited. Access Certification gives organizations a clear, centralized view of access across users and applications, making it easy to track certification progress, reviewer decisions, and compliance status.

Other Improvements

  1. Updated Paylocity webhook authentication to ensure reliable communication and timely event delivery to Hire2Retire.
  2. UKG Job Family Code and Job Family Description attributes are now supported in data integrations.
