Event Notification

Connect iPaaS Event Notification allows you to be notified of the event processing alerts in case of error or warnings in a running workflow. These notifications are based on the information that is visually available in the Observe Pane on Connect iPaaS as real-time analytics.

Event Notification allows a user to set notifications via Email or SMS. You as a user can choose to be alerted or notified for all the events processed by a workflow or just the errors encountered. Event notification set up can be done on the User Profile page.

You will need to set up an email server, an SMS provider connection, and choose the default notification level. Connect iPaaS supports SMS notification using Twilio telecom APIs.

Note: For the SMS notification, you will need a Twilio account to send the SMS from.

On this setup page, you will be able to choose whether to enable or disable notifications for all the flows on your account. This will be the DEFAULT setting that can be overridden for a specific flow at the design time or from the Manage Pane.

Email Notification Settings

To enable events notification via email, you will need to define destination email address to send the notification to and the notification level - All or Error. You will also need to toggle the default behavior of the event notification to on or off for all the workflows. You can provide multiple email addresses separated by spaces to notify more than one destination email. All of this set up can be done on the User Profile page as shown in the image below.
