Dynamics 365 CRM Connection¶
Microsoft Dynamics 365 application on Connect iPaaS uses OAuth authorization. By linking your Microsoft account with Connect iPaaS, you can authorize RoboMQ to have a delegated access on your behalf. RoboMQ needs the following permissions on your account to provide a seamless integration experience:
|offline_access||Allows the app to see and update the data you gave it access to. This does not give the app any additional permissions.|
|profile||Allows the app to see your basic profile (name, picture, user name)|
|User.Read||Allows you to sign in to the app with your organizational account and let the app read your profile|
|Allows the app to see your email address|
|user_impersonation||Allows the application to access common data service as organization users|
Please refer Permissions and consent to learn more about Dynamics 365 OAuth permissions used by Connect iPaaS.
Create a Connection¶
To link your Dynamics 365 CRM account, you have to first specify your
Dynamics 365 Instance URL.
Your Microsoft Dynamics instance URL can be found in the address bar, when you log in to your Dynamics 365 CRM account. An example of this instance is shown in Figure 2.
When you click on the
Link Account button, you will be redirected to the Microsoft Account Authorization screen. Choose the user account you would like to provide to and then enter the password for that account. After entering the right credentials the next screen will be the application page where you can check
allow RoboMQ to access your account.
By allowing access, you are authorizing RoboMQ to access your Dynamics 365 CRM account. After successfully creating a Dynamics 365 CRM Connection on Connect iPaaS, you will be able to use all Dynamics 365 CRM triggers and actions.
