Phase 7.4 Release Notes

Released on November, 2024

Summary

The Hire2Retire Phase 7.4 release introduces several new features and enhancements to improve employee data management. Hire2Retire now supports integrations with the Personio HRIS system, enabling employee data synchronization with identity management systems and other applications throughout the employment lifecycle. Additionally, Hire2Retire has expanded its SCIM provisioning capabilities by adding support for ten new third-party applications. Another key enhancement allows users to map both current and prior attribute values from the Identity Provider (IDP), improving the tracking and management of employee role changes. Several minor improvements have also been made to enhance the overall user experience.

New Features

New Supported HR System – Personio

The Hire2Retire platform now supports integrations with Personio, enabling organizations to seamlessly integrate and manage employee profiles between Personio and AD. At runtime, the Hire2Retire workflow retrieves employee data from Personio using an API, then creates and updates employee profiles in the target AD system according to user-defined employee attribute mapping.

More Supported SCIM Connectors

Hire2Retire has expanded its SCIM provisioning capabilities by adding support for ten new third-party applications. Users can now establish seamless integrations between Hire2Retire and these applications, automating the provisioning and de-provisioning processes for targeted employees. The newly supported applications are:

  1. SmartSense
  2. Sendoso
  3. Talkdesk
  4. Transmit Security
  5. GoTo
  6. Deltek Vantagepoint
  7. Mailosaur
  8. ReachFive
  9. Retool
  10. Qase

Enhancements

Support mapping using the previous and the new value of the selected IDP attributes

Hire2Retire has enhanced its functionality to display employee attribute value changes when configuring the Service Desk, Access, and Communication Hub. Previously, only current employee attributes from the Identity Provider were available for mapping. Now, users can map both current and prior attribute values, enabling more effective tracking of changes to fields like job title and department. This improvement provides the IT team with comprehensive employee details to support better decision-making.

Other Improvements

  1. Positioned Entra ID attribute names in Hire2Retire to align with display names in Entra ID, making it easier for users to identify and configure attributes.
  2. Enabled copy-and-paste functionality in text boxes, allowing users to copy content, including mapping modules, Excel functions, and multi-line text.
  3. Optimized page load time for the Observe page (flow level) and the Connection Management page (account level).
  4. AD custom attributes can now be used to define conditions for sending emails, creating tickets, and provisioning.
  5. Updated labels: "Other HR Systems" is now "Generic HR Systems," and "Other ATS Systems" is now "Generic ATS Systems."
  6. Reordered Service Desk applications based on popularity.
  7. Minor UX improvements to the mail forwarding configuration fields.
