BeyondTrust on Hire2Retire uses OAuth2.0 client credentials.

OAuth 2.0, which stands for “Open Authorization”, is a standard designed to allow a website or application to access their resources hosted by other web apps on behalf of a user. OAuth 2.0 uses Access Tokens. An Access Token is a piece of data that represents the authorization to access resources on behalf of the end-user.

To establish a connection to the BeyondTrust on Hire2Retire Provisioning, you need to provide the following OAuth information:

  • Client Id - The client ID is a unique identifier assigned to your application when you register it as a client with the BeyondTrust platform.

  • Client Secret - The client secret is a confidential and unique identifier associated with your application when you register it as a client with the BeyondTrust platform.

  • Instance URL -The Instance URL is the entry point to all API calls.

Once the connection is established successfully, then only you can define the roles and mapping on Hire2Retire Provisioning.
