Overview
Using the Access on Hire2Retire, you can provision and deprovision users on AS400.
The AS400 system generates a CSV file for each user, containing defined headers and assigned a specific filename, which is securely deposited in a designated SFTP location.

Define Role Definition¶
Provisioning Type¶
Define Role(s)¶
You can assign a Role to any user based on their AD or HRIS attributes. You can define complex conditions using AND and OR logic. You can also use the Group memberships in AD to define Roles. For example: In Figure 2, the rules are defined on the basis of department (Equals) and jobTitle (Equals). If the rules are passed, then only user(s) will get provisioned. If no rule passes and the user(s) are present in AS400, then deprovisioning is performed for the user(s).

You can enable the "Do not deprovision app access upon change of role" checkbox to prevent users from being deprovisioned on AS400 due to a role mismatch.

Provision All Employees¶
All user(s) will be provisioned on AS400.

Provision User¶
You can decide to either provision or deprovision user(s) using Access.
-
Provisioning - You can provision one or more user(s) to the AS400 according to the requirement. User(s) can be created, updated or reactivated in provisioning operation.
-
Deprovisioning - You can deprovision one or more user(s) according to the requirement. User accounts will be deactivated from AS400 upon deprovisioning.

CSV Filename¶
You need to provide a CSV filename, which will be created with the defined headers and values for each user, and then uploaded to the SFTP location.

Map attributes on AS400¶
You can define the headers for a CSV file using available types such as Password and Text. These headers can then be mapped to values incoming from the AD and HRIS. Additionally, you can also use Hire2Retire's powerful data transformation capabilities using Excel Style functions.
When the Password type is selected, a system-generated password will be automatically emailed to the recipients specified in the Password attribute.
If you want to manage provisioning and deprovisioning through a CSV header, you can use the Provisioning Status attribute. Note that only the Equals operation is supported with Provisioning Status.
