Phase 8.1 Release Notes

Released on February, 2025

Summary

The Hire2Retire Phase 8.1 release adds several new features and improvements that enhance employee lifecycle management. Hire2Retire now integrates with Paycor Onboarding and Lever ATS, allowing employee data to be synced before the employment start date. Hire2Retire also now supports isolved as an HR system, enabling employee data synchronization throughout the active employment lifecycle. A new Reconciliation Report feature has been added to track HR record processing in Hire2Retire, and SCIM provisioning capabilities have been expanded to support eight new third-party applications, automating employee provisioning and de-provisioning.

Additionally, Hire2Retire now supports custom attributes in ADP and Greenhouse ATS, offering more flexibility in data mapping. Users can now update multiple identities with the same Employee ID, improving identity management. Support for customer-owned authentication applications has also been added for Hybrid AD integrations, enhancing security and flexibility for OAuth management. Several minor improvements have also been made to enhance the overall user experience.

New Features

Support For Paycor Onboarding Integrations

Hire2Retire now supports integrations with Paycor Onboarding, enabling customers to manage employee profiles in the identity directory before their official start date. Using Paycor Onboarding to Active Directory (AD) integration with a Paycor HR to AD integration flow, Hire2Retire enables early automation of employee lifecycle management from the onboarding stage. When an onboarding employee transitions to new hire status, Hire2Retire ensures seamless synchronization of employee data in AD.

Support For Integrations With isolved HR

Hire2Retire now integrates with the HR system isolved, allowing organizations to seamlessly synchronize employee information between isolved and their Identity Provider (IdP) setup via an API-based approach. The Hire2Retire workflow fetches employee data from isolved through API and updates or creates employee profiles in the target AD system based on customized attribute mapping.

Support For Integrations with Lever

Hire2Retire now integrates with Lever ATS, enabling the automated synchronization of employee data before the designated start date. For this integration, Hire2Retire retrieves employee data via API and supports onboarding, profile updates, and termination lifecycle operations.

Reconciliation Reports

Hire2Retire users can now reconcile the number of HR records received in each file extract or API pull with the processing done by Hire2Retire. All employee records are classified as either processed, no change, or processing skipped. Hire2Retire users can see the reconciliation information on the Reconciliation Tab. Each file extract received or API call made is considered a batch and all records in a batch are reconciled. Users can also see the processing details of all the records in a batch that was processed. Users can also get scheduled or real-time reconciliation reports delivered as PDF, CSV, or HTML files.

Support for More SCIM Connectors

Hire2Retire has expanded its SCIM provisioning capabilities by adding support for eight new third-party applications. Users can now establish seamless integrations between Hire2Retire and these applications that automate the provisioning and de-provisioning processes for targeted employees. The new supported applications are:

  1. Braze
  2. Elfsquad
  3. HID Global
  4. JFrog
  5. Nevis
  6. Optimizely
  7. SocialTalent
  8. Statsig

Enhancements

Support For ADP Custom Attributes

Hire2Retire now supports four types of custom attributes in ADP: Code Fields, String Fields, Date Fields, and Number Fields. This enhancement provides customers the flexibility to map custom ADP attributes with the IDP, ensuring that all relevant user data, including custom attributes, are available across systems.

Support For Greenhouse Custom Attributes

Hire2Retire now supports a range of custom attributes in Greenhouse ATS, offering customers the flexibility to map these attributes in Identity Management Systems. Supported attribute types include short text, long text, yes/no, single-select, multi-select, currency, number, date, URL, and user.

Update Multiple Accounts with the Same Employee ID

Hire2Retire can now update multiple identities associated with the same Employee ID from the identity management system. This feature ensures that only attribute updates are applied, without affecting any group-related changes. It is especially beneficial for organizations that maintain separate admin and user identities for the same employee in Active Directory (AD). The workflow will handle all downstream processes, including creating tickets in the ITSM system for all associated identities.

Support For Customer-Owned Authentication Applications in Hybrid AD Integration Setups

In response to security demands from our customers, Hire2Retire now offers support for customer-owned applications when configuring cloud-based features in a Hybrid AD workflow. Using a customer-owned application, users can manage connections through registered OAuth applications as opposed to user accounts and manage required authorization scopes. In addition, this enables customers to set up connections using government national clouds

Other Improvements

  1. Hire2Retire now allows editing and scrolling on the design form while the help document is expanded, enabling customers to configure while referencing instructions.
  2. Hire2Retire now allows users to exclude special characters when building UPNs and emails.
  3. Uncommon Excel functions have been removed from the configuration toolbar.
  4. Added government national cloud Azure connection support when configuring lifecycle email templates and Azure Blob event archiving.
  5. Reordered the Service Desk configuration form to place lifecycle operation selection before policy definition.
  6. Hire2Retire has now optimized the AD request data size by only requesting the necessary AD attributes.
