Phase 6.5 Release Notes

Released on June, 2024

Summary

The Hire2Retire 6.5 release introduces a suite of new features to enhance HR processes and increase user interaction.
Support for Paycom onboarding automates the management of pending employees in the Active Directory before their employment start date. Additionally, HR to AD integrations with Oracle PeopleSoft HR are now available on the platform. Hire2Retire has also expanded service desk options to include three new ITSM applications, automating ticket creation for all employment lifecycles. Keycloak provisioning is now offered, allowing users to automate provisioning and de-provisioning processes for targeted employees.
In addition to these new features, Hire2Retire now supports work email write-back to HR systems in Paycor and Workday, ensuring synchronized email addresses between Directory Services and HR platforms for data accuracy and consistency. Minor improvements and bug fixes have also been implemented, allowing users to efficiently manage HR processes and data integration, enhancing overall productivity and reliability.

New Features

Paycom Onboarding Support in Hire2Retire

Hire2Retire now supports integrations between the Paycom Onboarding module and directory services. With this integration, employees with a pending status can be preboarded in the directory service before their start date. A Paycom Onboarding to AD integration workflow can be used alongside a Paycom HR to AD integration workflow. After an employee is converted to the new hire status, the Paycom HR to AD integration workflow will handle future changes and sync the employee to AD.
The integration support of the Paycom onboarding module can also help customers automate handling employee attribute changes or offer rescissions.

New HR System: Oracle PeopleSoft

Hire2Retire now offers integration with the Oracle PeopleSoft HR system. Customers can efficiently establish employee synchronization between Oracle PeopleSoft and directory services through a file-extract-based solution, simplifying the automation of employee lifecycles.

Service Desk Support for BMC Helix ITSM, Zendesk, and ManageEngine ServiceDesk

Hire2Retire now supports three new Service Desk options: BMC Helix ITSM, Zendesk, and ManageEngine ServiceDesk. Customers can integrate these service desk applications within Hire2Retire to automate the creation of tickets across specified lifecycle phases, seamlessly handling tasks like employee onboarding preparation and role change transitions. Incidents and change request entity creation are available with BMC Helix ITSM integrations, ticket creation is supported through Zendesk integrations, and request, task, problem, change, and solution management can be accessed via ManageEngine ServiceDesk integrations.

New Provisioning support for Keycloak

Keycloak is now available on the Hire2Retire platform for SCIM provisioning support. Similar to other SCIM applications, users can automate provisioning and de-provisioning processes for targeted employees through Keycloak integrations.

Enhancements

Work email write back to HR systems in Paycor and Workday

Hire2Retire now supports writing business emails back to Paycor and Workday upon successful employee onboarding. Additionally, Hire2Retire will update email addresses in the HR system when changes occur in the directory service.
