Imperva in Hire2Retire uses API Key.

In various platforms, including Imperva, an API key functions as an exclusive code or token granted to developers seeking interaction with the platform's API. This key plays a pivotal role in verifying and permitting the developer's entry to the platform's resources and data. Developers are required to include this designated API key within their API requests as a means of verifying their identity and securing access to the diverse functionalities furnished by the platform's API.

Generate API key in Imperva

You can learn how to generate an API key on Imperva or follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Cloud Security Console and navigate to Account > Account Management. For additional details, refer to Manage Account Users.

  2. In the sidebar, select User Management > API Keys.

  3. Click Add API Key to create a new API Key.

  4. Copy the credentials displayed in the pop-up window. Once the pop-up is closed, the API key cannot be retrieved. Ensure it is securely stored.

To link your Imperva account using API key, you have to specify your Instance URL,Account Id and API key.
