Slack Connection

When connecting your Slack workspace to Connect iPaaS, Slack will use OAuth to authorize the connection. By linking your Slack account with Connect iPaaS, you will authorize RoboMQ to have a delegated access on your behalf. RoboMQ needs the following permissions on your account to provide a seamless integration experience:

Object	Permission
Users	Get the list of users in workspace
Chat	Post as a bot or as a user
Channels	Get the list of channels to receive message notifications

Create a Connection

To link your Slack account, you have to first specify a name for your Slack connection under Connection Name, there will be an auto-filled in name but feel free to name it something more meaningful. Once you have picked out a name, click on the Link Account button.

When you click on the Link Account button, you will be redirected to the Slack Account Authorization screen. Here you can see what permissions Connect iPaaS will be requesting.

By allowing access, you are authorizing RoboMQ to access your Slack account, with the permissions as shown in the authorization page.
