NetSuite Actions¶
Connect iPaaS allows you to create and modify NetSuite entities like Contacts, Invoices, or Inventory Items using Actions.
To configure actions on the Connect iPaaS, you need a trigger event to perform actions with.
Below is the window screen where you choose the action that you want to take when your trigger app starts an event.
Here, the trigger event is from Coupa spend management platform. Whenever there is a new record updated in Coupa, there will be an action in NetSuite.
Setting up NetSuite action in your workflow¶
Once you select an action as shown in Figure 1, you need to select the type of entity you want to create or modify in NetSuite. Due to NetSuite's elaborate entity list, Connect iPaaS allows you to choose from as many as 150+ entities.
For our example, we have chosen the invoice entity and defined how we want to create an invoice in NetSuite. Most of these configurations can be found while creating an invoice manually in the NetSuite console as well.
With this action, a new invoice is created in NetSuite when a new record is created in Coupa.
