Magento2x Overview¶
Magento is an open-source B2B and B2C e-commerce platform that provides online merchants with a shopping cart system as well as a rich control over the look and feel, using different free/paid templates from the admin system. Magento is part of the Adobe Experience Cloud and brings almost all marketing tech under one roof. It provides easy content management along with powerful marketing tools, search engine optimization, and catalog-management tools.

Magento 2.x on Connect iPaaS¶
Connect iPaaS enables you to integrate Magento with other SaaS and enterprise applications. You can build a workflow to create, update or delete objects which might be a Product or a Category or other Connect iPaaS supported entities in your Magento 2.x application based on certain events in other applications. Conversely, you can perform actions on other applications based on certain events or changes of the selected entity in the Magento 2.x application. The entities supported on Connect iPaaS for Magento are Customers, Products, Categories, Comments on Invoices and Other entities.
Customers¶
Customers is used to store and track information about individual customers like Name, email, store ID, etc.
Products¶
Products is used to store and track information about individual products like product code, name, type ID, etc.
Categories¶
Categories is used to store and track information about product categories like category name, code, status, number of products in category, etc.
Comments on Invoices¶
Ticket is used to track the status of customer issues, engagements, and conversations with your company.
