MQTT Actions

Actions are the operations (or API operations) that you can perform on MQTT broker.

You can simply drag & drop attributes from input trigger, derive values using formulas or constants that you may wish to map with MQTT.

Figure 1 shows the actions which are supported by Connect iPaaS.

Setting up the MQTT action in your workflow

After selecting the action as "Send a new event to an IoT Device" as below, you can continue to configure or set up your action parameter that will define what event you will send on the IoT device topic via MQTT.

As the Figure 2 shows below, we map the field "Iot Data" with the available trigger data parameters 'From' and 'Content' using the "Concatenate" excel functions supported in Connect iPaaS.

2. IoT Data is the data you wish to send on the above mentioned IoT device topic as an event
