Libelium Event Filter¶
Connect iPaaS allows selective processing of Trigger events.
With Event Filters, you can choose to only process trigger events when they meet certain criteria. Those criteria could be built using the data attributes available in the Trigger Applications.
With Libelium, you can use the following filter attributes linked with its incoming IoT telemetry data to create event scenarios.
- Altitude
- Latitude
- Wasp ID
- Wasp Name
- Parser Type
- Sensor Description
- Measurement
- Longitude
- Timestamp
Example Scenario¶
To better illustrate event filters we will take a scenario where you are using IoT devices to monitor the humidity level of fertilizer in a storage silo. When the humidity level rises beyond a specific point a ServiceNow (Privileged) incident will be created and a SMS notification will be sent out.
For this example, we will have to filter out events that don't have a humidity level above a 82.4 percent and whose name does not contain the text Silo. Here is a snapshot of Connect iPaaS
